Q&A with General Manager Raegan Hall

Who is Corzetti for?

A: The cool thing about Corzetti is that it's for everyone. Our space is designed for people do enjoy it however they want, the bar is awesome, the space is big. It's the perfect place to skip around our cocktail menu, have a drink and bite, or indulge in a $300 bottle of Montepulciano and a steak. We see tourists, have regulars, people popping in while shopping in the neighborhood, folks coming in before a show — really a full mix of SF.

What experience do you hope people have at Corzetti?

A: I want people to walk in and have a personable experience. I think our style of hospitality is super warm and our staff does a great job of encouraging people to try new and different things.

What are some of your favorite things to do in the neighborhood?

A: Union Square has a lot of great window shopping and people watching. The cool thing about downtown is that it attracts every walk of life so there are always interesting people to meet and learn from. There are also a lot of cool local bars and coffee shops here that I like to pop into. I'm a big fan of The Summer Place, which is just up the hill and super divey and retro.

What's one thing you love about the restaurant?

A: In the morning, the light from the sun shines through our windows and casts perfect shadows on the dining room. It's so gorgeous and makes me smile every morning.
